Upcoming Events

As we head into 2025, the first few months are already looking busy! From gradings to competitions, there’s plenty to aim for. Now is a great time to review the calendar and start planning your goals for the next six weeks.

South-West Championships (Sunday, 2nd February)

The South-West Championships will celebrate 50 years of Tae Kwon-Do in the South-West—a milestone event!

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills, celebrate our shared legacy, and be part of a historic occasion.

Many of you have already signed up—thank you! If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to take on the challenge.

Important notes for competitors and spectators:

  • Entry Deadline: Friday, 15th of January

  • Spectator Tickets: Required for junior competitors. Please note that late entries may not secure tickets, as they will not be available on the door.

Colour Belt Grading (Sunday, 9th February)

The next Colour Belt Grading will take place in just over four weeks at Cranbrook Education Campus in the main hall (a smaller venue we’ve used before). Parents and supporters will need to wait in the main atrium rather than watch the grading.

This is a great chance for students who feel ready to showcase their progress and move up to the next level.

The Pre-Grading will therefore take place on Monday the 3rd of February 6:00 - 7:00pm. Please note there will be no training in the second hour.

Key Dates for Your 2025 Diary

  • Monday, 6th January: First Session Back & Senior Grade Training (7:00 - 8:00pm)

  • Saturday, 1st February: Black Belt Patterns Course

  • Sunday, 2nd February: South-West Championships

  • Monday, 3rd February: Colour Belt Pre-Grading (6:00 - 7:00pm, no training 7:00 - 8:00pm)

  • Sunday, 9th February: Colour Belt Grading

  • Monday, 24th February: Senior Grade Training in Second Hour (7:00 - 8:00pm)

With lots to look forward to, we can’t wait to kick off another incredible year with you all. Whether it’s training, grading, or competing, let’s make 2025 a year of progress and success for everyone in the club. See you at training!
